Cheryl Hambly Deputy Unit Controller (Rescue)
Cheryl joined the SES in 1998. Currently holding the position of Local Deputy Controller, Cheryl has previously held the role of operations officer, training officer and rescue officer. Her current role is to oversee the training and rescue function within the North Sydney unit.
Cheryl is a trainer in various courses including Induction, First Aid, Team Leader, Storm Damage, General Rescue and Training & Assessment.
Cheryl has been involved in a number of operations both within North Sydney, the Sydney Northern Region and outside the region involving storm damage operations and assistance during bush fires. The largest operation she has been involved with was the 1994 storms that impacted the Eastern Suburbs.
Outside the SES, Cheryl is a trainer and an accountant, and enjoys any outdoor activities. |
